Our perspective is that it would be great to met some more people who live in Perth (and surrounding area!), irrespective of if they have been here 1 day or have been born and raised here....in fact the more varied the better! It will just be a chance to have a good day out, meet new people and celebrate being in a place where autumn still allows you to sit in a beautiful park in shorts and a t-shirt!!

Looking forward to it!

Cheers

Paul

Thank you!

It is the most fun meeting up with people who you've got to know on here, I do agree. Though for the 'newbies (here I go again...) it's fun to meet other newbies too.

Ok, right. If I make another post on this thread, please moderators, delete it! argh!

I'm all for the slight change in meeting area, seems a good idea (toddler/young child friendly) and hope it's easy to find. Would love to meet oldies and newbies, guess I'm an inbetweeny as we've been here 6 months.
Take care and see you soon

Stickybeaks/Ivy Watson playground is very easy to find.... of Kings Park road and turn into the road for Kings Park Tennis Club and its bang right there on the right. If someone misses it then they should not be driving.

Just to let folks know we're still interested, although the logistics of getting our crowd mobilised before midday (without a school bell ringing) is always a challenge.... the turn up when you like idea is good.
Totally approve of the kids play area idea - even our eldest (11) frequently acts like our youngest (3).
Paul, PM me your mobile number when you have it. I'll do like wise when we get one in Oz.
Good luck on Wednesday!

The Lotteries area is a good choice. Our tribe range from 17 mths to 7 years and they love it there. We've been here for 4 months so looking forward to meeting oldies/newbies/whatever.
Cheers

Hi Brian,

The logistics of getting a meet with fits in for all is pretty diificult. So I say the best thing is, we start at 10am, but those who can only get there later please turn up whenever. That's the only way I can see this working. We allegedly won't find a pitch after that, just going on what I've ready here.

It'll be May 15 10am as mentioned before.

Hope you can all make it at some point during the day.

See you there.

Regards#

Paul

Hi all,

Just to say that we arrived on Thursday, good flights. And have got a three week rental in Connolly.

Will have a reccie of Kings Park next week. Be good to hear from any of you guys. Just PM me.

I met up with Jen and Steve at a pub in Woodvale last night. Thanks to them for inviting me. I have to admit I was still rather jet lagged, and have been feeling a little sick.

Speak to you all very soon

Take care and see you in Perth.

Paul
