anyone had an aus police check recently?

I did it by getting the form online from the AFP and sending it to them, I had it within a week. Very quick. www.afp.gov.au
I think you can also go into a local Police Station and get it (you used to be able) I did that a few years ago and they gave it to me in 10 min. But not sure if they do that anymore.

It can take up to 28 days, for no reason, other than that is the customer service pledge / charter.
