well we have finally landed and are staying in Melbourne for a couple of days, will be moving into the Barwon Valley Lodges in Geelong on Sunday.

Hi Karen, Hi Claire,

Yes we have landed in Geelong, its lovely here by the river, just as you said Claire, are you still next door or have you moved into your rental yet. We went and had a look at one in Highton today.

Not long Karen, we had a good flight, the A380 was awesome, can well recommend it, if you have booked on this one try and get seats upstairs, especially the 2 seat section plenty of room.

Hi

We moved into our rental last week at long last and are currently dining off a picnic table and sleeping on air beds lol! But the good news is our furniture has arrived in Melbourne and is awaiting customs clearance! I cant wait for my leather sofa and king size bed :thumbsup:

Highton is a nice area, thats where my 2 are at school, and one of the areas we would like to buy eventually. Our rental is in Waurn Ponds, very quiet up here and on the edge of the estate.

Just out of interest which real estate agent are you using? CJ KEanes were useless at getting back to us when we rang :huh: I guess they are the same throughout the world!!!

We used Barry Plant at Waurn Ponds to get our rental.

Yes we used Barry Plant, although they seem to be on the quiet side now we have submitted our condition report with some maintenance requests but hey Im in and enjoying it at the moment.

Out of interest any recommendations on decent internet providers. Were on Optus 3g (Optus cant give us ADSL) so we are going to change before the cooling off period ends. Telstra looks like a good option.... any opinions?
