Question Anyone else in Perth's north smell the crem this morning?

Woke up to the smell of burning flesh this morning. Later I saw the chimney at the crematorium going full pelt at 7am. They must get cheap gas overnight or something.

You could complain to the local public health authority about the smell.

Yeah, there was smoke in Neerabup NP again and a few FESA helicopters whizzing over in the last few days.

That could have been it. I've spent a lot of time at Neerabup over the last few months doing fire control and that peat stinks when it burns. Horrible acid soil, takes your skin off it it gets on you.

Maybe this winter hasn't been wet enough to put the fire out.

we got flyers in the mail about the paet fire a few months back, they said it would take a few months of rain to put it out, i guess this winter just hasn't been wet enough, it seemed to flair up every day last week, so i guess we'll have to expect another summer of smoke.

Damn, I hate it up there. It's like hell on earth, dangerous too.

We know who started the fire, just don't have the proof.

There was a strong smell of burning in the air again last night. I opened the bedroom windows (fresh air freak that I am) and within minutes the room was 'smokey'.
