Hi,

My son was already here on a WHV, applied when he had a month left to go, application then took about 9 months. Once your application is in you can have a bridging visa if you are here. Not sure how long it would take if not already in Oz. Our immigration solicitor told us more rights if on shore application.

Hope this helps

Tracey
