There's a few peeps around. Bobby is down your way. Him and a few blokes do the golf thing etc. Have a wee look for the manly welly point thread and you'll get Bobby's details. We're up the road from you in Alex Hills. There's a curry night at the Spice Avenue Balti House in Brikdale on 21st March that a few of us are going to. Would be a good chance to meet up. See the Barbie for the thread.

Cheers

I'm sure your husband played golf for Brisbane against the Coasties but not quite sure i met him on the day, tis a shame he didn't get on earlier as we've just organised a game up Northlakes.Unfortunately i think it's full though but i'll get in touch with Pap 01 tomorrow and check it out

There's always this if he's interested in joining us He's more than welcome to join in http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=591358

Unfortunately March is a total no, no for us to have a drink in Cleveland due to the fact we've got commitments every weekend but i'm sure we could arrange summit soon

As Ginny says there's also other things going on what we try to organise for a weekend Some of these may appeal some may not

Hi

My wife (Lisa), boys (aged 18 and 19) and I have recently moved to Cleveland. Lisa has just started work as a nurse at a Cleveland doctors. My eldest has found a traineeship. Things are going well. We really like it here but we do miss our family and friends.

Love to meet up some time

Hi teppic.

I have a fair bit to learn about fishing here. I've caught a few carp in my time and I've got my rods with me. I think a boat is needed to catch anything decent although there are flathead in the shallows.

If you need your wines sampled...

Great - we are getting married in Sept on our way over then living with the in-laws till we are on our feet.

Not on skills visas so looking for work, unless very unlucky I will get some good fishing time.....

There's another curry night at the spice avenue on 10th July of anyone fancies it. Kick off I believe is about 6pm in the Irish bar (just around the corner) then dinner about 7.30pm.

Good crowd and great laugh. Mainly adults but have had nights with little nippers and all welcome.

Cheers
