Had a few friends at Washington Comp, but not sure if they were in the same year as you. So we probably didn't know each other but it is still funny how we grew up in the same town and will both end up in the same place in Oz. |

hello all, we hope to get to cairns as soon as visa is granted, we live in durham.Do you all have children? Ive got a daughter who is 12 and a son who is 15 and just left school. My main concerns are for them hoping they settle ok. Ive just been offered a job at the base hospital in cairns Im a childrens nurse, will be nice to try to meet up with you when we eventually get there.Thanks for the reply Trudi :thumbsup:

Hi Trudi, I've 4 boys aged 16, just left school, 12, 10 and 7. If your son wants to, I could see if my eldest wants to chat to him so as least they will know someone their own age when they get out there. How does your son feel about going back to school when he gets there, mine wasn't sure but is okay with it now. Helen |
