Yep - sent off application on 1st Dec 2002, request for meds came through mid April 2003, had to wait a while for the police report, but once that came through got the visa three days later in mid June 2003. Applied as an accountant.

HAVE A LOOK AT THE TIMELINE SITE, SHOWS MANY THAT HAVE BEEN GRANTED WITHIN 50 WEEKS

I must of applied at the wrong time. Applied first week of July 2001 and did not get granted until March 2003. I was told by agent that it took so long because it was when they stopped processing in UK and everything went over to Aus. Most likely got put at the bottom.

We applied end of October 2002 and Pr granted end of May 03 around 30 weeks.

In around Feb or March next year things will start to pick up and they send out lots of med/Police check requests, they seem to process most visas between then and the end of June. Some people sent off their applications in Feb and were granted Pr by June earlier this year!!

Hopefully if you have just applied you might hear in Feb/March next year. Good luck!
