Don't worry - my professional opinion - not enough alcohol.
Remedy - stop packing for an hour and sink a bottle of vino
It may not work but you won't care
Prolly the old thyroid again - they say moving house is as stressful as bereavement and divorce, and you're moving a long way! I've done the latter two, and will be doing the moving thing in 11 months so I will let you know.
Good luck - will be thinking of you

I'm very stressed. I've been looking to migrate to Oz for the past four years but thank goodness I finally finished up my Bachelors Degree in Media Studies this past December.
I'm stressed b/c I want a new beginning to my life so bad. I just wish that things were much simpler and easy to understand. There have been countless times where I've been to dima, immi.gov.au, austemb.org and none of it makes sense. Sometimes I think my degree is good enough to edge me over the top in the points test...other times I think they wiped the acceptance of an american degree off the map.
Any consoling on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can't read things, really have to try and focus, tingling hands and an all over feeling on your body that isn't quite right but I cant really put a finger on what it is. hot and cold flushes, feeling like I am on planet Zorg.
Hated it at first, now kinda used to it.
Did get really bad at work the other day and I honestly thought I was going to pass out, the room went all wobbly and I had to sit down.
However I know mine is stress an I know exactly what I am stressed about so it kinda makes abit more sense for me than for you if you dont think you are stressed.
Hope you get better

My brother had something similar - went for tests and is currently on beta-blockers. They seem to have really worked for him and he's hoping to come off them in another couple of weeks and hopefully stay less stressed. He had all very similar symptoms to you, to the point his dizzy spells didnt allow him to walk without holding on to something.

It must be really difficult for you at the moment what with the packing, leaving the house, emigrating and look after your girls - phew!
No wonder you have got stress. I know how you feel though, I seem to have a million and one things going through mind head at any one time - afraid that I will miss something out.
Dont worry girl you will be fine - I am sure that you will feel a it better when you get to your mum's.
Make the most of your last few weeks Booms.
Take care

Boomie,
Poor you - I always find taking drugs helps in moments like that
Don't worry love, it will all be worth it in the end.
I just keep picturing us all sitting in Brizzie one evening getting pissed and that kind of helps
Chin up

Suck it up flower, not long now.
I thought i was stressed but at least i'm not getting your symptoms.
Think of a calm blue ocean and take deap breaths, then picture yourself sat on that beach and think to yourself " not long now and that WILL be me".

Hi Boomers, you're not the only one!
Some of us (me, for instance) get in a flap, have a moan and get it out of their system... but I probably annoy everyone else... (sorry!)
Others (e.g. hubby) internalise the stress. He didn't seem the least bit bothered by the whole thing, really took it in his stride, but... one evening he suddenly started chucking up, there was blood in it and he now has a suspected ulcer. (Sorry to be gross)
That's the problem with people who internalise stress, it can be very damaging. The whole process is very stressful. There's a point scale in psychology... all these stressful life events get different point ratings. Moving is way up there, with bereavement and divorce. I guess migration could be worse, depending on the circumstances, because you are leaving everything behind.
Best thing to do then, is to get the stress out. Go out to the gym, have a walk, moan to a good friend, get out of the house... but try not to kick the cat though.
A word of warning too... we all like a drink here, I do too... but you need to watch out that during this stressful time you don't become too dependent on the booze, or it will get you in the end.
:lecture: sorry to lecture, I come from a family of alcholics, so I've seen it all!
Take care you lot
