Any Massage Therapists in Brisbane out there?
Just wondering if there are any massage therapists working in Brisbane with any advice for a UK therapist starting out again! Built business up in UK for last 2 years, leaving in May to start up again in Oz!
I have an ITEC qualificiation in Massage and Reflexology and also do on-sire acupressure massage in Companies. Currently studying distantly for my Remedial Diploma with AIAS. Apparently I can become a member of an organisation based in Melbourne so I can get insured on my ITEC qual, but on that alone I will not be able to offer health rebates, hence studying Remedial diploma.
What is best out there - self-employed or employed in a clinic etc? Any particularly treatment trends out there? What's popular?
What organisation is best to be a member of? What insurance / Health Fund is good?
Any tips, advice, comments or thoughts greatly aprpeciated!
