Any Legal Executives out there???
Hi everyone, I'm a Member of Institute of Legal Executives and will obtain Fellowship in June. I currently work within the litigation department of a large law firm based in London.
Anyway, until about ten minutes ago I didn't think that there were Legal Execs in Australia but I have managed to find details of an Institute in Victoria.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find work in Australia as a Fellow and how much are salaries (I'm fairly junior level).
I'm torn whether to stay here and finish the law papers (could hopefully do this by October), but then would have to wait until Sept 08 to start teh LPC full-time, but would qualify as a solicitor in June 09.
Not sure whether to just come over as a fellow or to stick it out and qualify first - have itchy feet and want to get going!!!
