look forward to seeing you all soon.
i have only found out recently that groups of brits get together once a month at pubs or parks.
hopefully we can get a few more people to read this thread and join in.

Yep theres a few as you can see.
We are based in Dakabin (next to Mango Hil)...parents currently building at Murrumba Downs and arrive early September 07.

I live in Redcliffe just over the bridge from you.I am here with my missus and 2 boys (14&12) and have been here for 13 months.If there is anything you want to know(as i'm not sure how long you have been here in Qld) or meet up for a beer let me know.

maverick and sarahl322: look forward to meeting you all once you have found your feet and settled in.
Thydney: your right it seem's a home away from home, in name anyway.
we have scarborough and margate close by too.
Chocolate_Teapot: more than happy to meet for a beer, i have to bring my 19 month daughter along as i don't know any babysitters, (single dad with toddler).
ragner: great love to meet for a beer. may be you, chocolate_Teapot and i can all get together soon, (again hope you don't mind if my little'un attends)
