I am from Aberdeen but live in Northants. Come home though every 6 - 8 weeks for a few days as get a bit homesick! God knows what I will be like in Oz! We are hoping to go to Perth. TRA passed and just waiting for a couple of things to come back and we can send off our visa application in the next couple of weeks. How far into the process are you? Where do you hope to end up and last but not least where about in Aberdeen are you?

The most sought after areas to live are in the west-end of the city centre (these areas are very expensive) going out as far as Kingswells, Elrick and Westhills but there are other lovely areas outside of Aberdeen like Stonehaven, Balmedie, Ellon and numerous others and are less expenise.
There is an American school out in Cults or Milltimber way that is very popular with the amount of Americans that live here but saying that I do not think your children would have any problems integrating in a normal secondary school.
Are you going to rent or buy?
Any other questions, just fire away.

Thankyou for your list, Yes at first we shall be renting, just to make sure everyone can adjust, We wanted to try and rent in the area we buy in so the children wouldn't have to move again.
