Default Anu recommendations for Landlord Insurance

Just wondering if anyone has let their house in the UK when they moved to Australia and has any recommendations for Landlord Insurance. I am going cross-eyed at the moment trying to compare what the different companies offer.

Hi there, we are in the same boat, looking at landlord insurance to rent out our property. Not sure who to go with yet.

Let me know if you find a good one and I'll let you know too

Interested to watch this post as almost posted the same question myself earlier today!

So far, all the quotes I have received have been at least 3 times the amount I currently pay for buildings & contents. Can't believe how expensive it is!

Sorry I can't offer advice but hopefully someone who's already been through it can!

We use Hamilton Fraser and find the cost reasonable. As landlords, one important thing to look for is cover for public liability.

We currently use CIA Insurance for our investment property but previously used Coversure, will probably use one of these companies when we go to Australia and let out our house.

I'm a property manager and we recommend www.terrischeer.com.au who specialises in landlord insurance. We find their quotes very reasonable.
Good luck !

We use a broker - Bedford Insurance who give us a range of options every year at renewal.

Their landlord insurance website is at:
