If your closing balance in the Uk differs to your opening balance in Australia I've heard that you may run into problems.
Does anyone know about this?

How will an Aussie bank know what your UK closing balance was?? And loads of people leave their UK accounts open anyway.

This sounds like the gobbledegook that another of the financial "advisors" publishes to hook the unsuspecting ... if I'm right ask them for a clear explanation of what it means, and don't part with any money for the privilege of a response from them.
