hello guys

Does anyone know if you can get a motgage in aus/uk to buy a property in Aus whiule still in the UK ? hopefuly i will have heard if i have been successful or not within the next two months and its an option i am looking at if allowed.

any help appreciated...

I think the guys on here who know about these things will need a bit more info:-eg

Have you got your PR Visa/permission to buy in Oz or are you an Oz citizen?

Is mortgage for a house you expect to live in? Soon?

Is your income in Aus$ or £?

As a rule it is better to have the mortgage in the CURRENCY of the country in which you earn money, and where the property is.

If not the exchange rate risks could be crippling.
