Flew Malaysian to Sydney via Kuala Lumpar in January - me, the wife and 3 year old Josh. No overall complaints - cabin staff had perma-smiles and were helpful. Seat-back entertainment was shite, but no more or less shite than any other long-haul I've travelled on (most of the big names). Food was definitely a bit 'out there' - weird fish curry thing for breakfast - if you're flying with a fussy eater, pack some sandwiches and crisps.

Needless to say, we were wearing our bike clips!!

The only compensation was being gripped tightly by a (very) young female Swedish tourist who also wondered what the hell we were all doing there.

Happy days!

Happy days indeed ;) Yep the things one does as a penniless traveller.

My BIL flew China Airways many moons ago and he said he used his feet as brakes a la Flintstones, rather scary it sounded!

I flew with them the other week. I slept most of the journey back which is unusual for me. I have never slept as much flying to London. The seats were just about big enough for mr. Service was fine and the Grudge was an unusual film to have.

We fly back to the Uk in May with Malaysia Airlines. (just for a holiday!) Does anyone know if you can ring up and check in like you can with Singapore, also can you book your seats like you can with Singapore?
