Well, I'm 36 and my husband is 43. We wish we had thought about doing this 10 years ago - but better late than never. Anyway you're only as old as you feel and I still feel 17!!

I am now 47 but feel much younger - that comes with working as a teacher in a college - keeps you young. I got my application in about three weeks before the 45 years old deadline - thanks to Graham Igglesden's advice actually - so I guess this makes me a veteran old crock. Mind you I plan to knock off a few years when I get to Adelaide - although some time in the sun will put paid to the deceit - end up looking like an old leather bag after a summer in the 40 degree temperature.
Question - are the flies as bad as they say.

You are as old as you feel and when you stop feeling, your old.

I've started a poll here http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...hreadid=133902
Much easier to summarize it.
Sorry for hijacking this thread though (but hey, this thread isn't locked!)
Cheers,
