Default Advice for lawyer please

I am a lawyer - called to the Bar in England in 2000. I have not completed pupillage but instead have been working as an in-house tax lawyer for one of the big 4 accountancy firms for the past 4 years.

What are my chances of gaining a working visa / residency?

what are my chances of being taken on by one of the Australian law firms (even as a trainee) when over there?

Any help is much appreciated.

Get some professional advice. There's probably a good chance in the light of the Government's ENS reforms - provided you can find an Australian employer keen to hire you.

Any chance of a transfer with your existing employer?

If going on a temporary visa, understand all the risks and downsides vs permanent residence.
