Has anyone applied under this category, or know anyone who has? My 48-year-old brother is an Australian citizen in Perth Hills who had a stroke last year. He can walk short distances with a walking-stick, but has no use of his left-arm (unfortunately, he was left-handed). He is divorced and lives alone. He still has pain and difficulty sleeping, but can just about slowly manage basic necessities, eg washing, dressing. Does anyone know how strict the criteria are for needing a carer?
