Plenty of nghtlife in Brisbane (or so they tell me - at my age nightlife is a cup of tea at 10pm before going to bed!) mainly centred in The Valley.

Melbourne is an old city, Brisbane is a young one that was hardly more than a large country town before it hosted the World Expo and the Commonwealth games back in the 80's - the growth in the city since then has been amazing.
