Re: Adelaide...what's it like living there?
i have a "visitor from UK she's awful all she does is critise everything. she keeps saying how old fashioned adelaide is. she is in the fashion retail industry and she thinks it's 4 years behind...i said people in adelaide don't really care much and that shopping and clothes don't really matter to me....she just wants to dislike everything"
she came into our house..... our home and makes me feel crap....with her rotten negativity.......so glad she's going on 22

but that's one of the attractions of Adelaide for me. I have never given a stuff about fashion or trends. It's not about what you've got but who you are as a person.....
But she shouldn't moan and go on so much ...especially soon as she's your house guest.
Put her on a plane to Sydney!!!! the 22nd is too faraway

Re: Adelaide...what's it like living there?
[QUOTE=Stitch;5755089]Hi,
We are seriously considering it. I just don't think that Brisbane is what we want. Yes the weather is fab but the house prices are way out of our league and rising faster than anything. In Adelaide we could afford something half decent doing the same jobs. I think, from what I've read Adelaide offers us the lifestyle that suits us. There was a job advertised but I only saw it on Sunday and it closed yesterday. Not enough time to put an application together. I am going to write to them and just mention that I'm on the look out. Also looking to see what there is for hubby.
What about you guys...How's it all going?
hi there
we could do a swap.Im in Adelaide and want to be in Brisbane!!working at flinders too
I find winters too cold for me here(I have a circulatory disorder)
Also my hubbie leaves the house at 7.15am and returns at 7.15pm so these problems can be everywhere
good luck
