But then is it 20 months the max. that we have to wait ??? or does it take even longer.

You'll probably may not saying it out. But I'm sure u'll are also waiting for it impatiently... At least I've been quite open and frank to express what i feel.

hik,
you can express all you want it will not make the process go any quicker . Take it from an old timer at this.
It is frustrating but the AHC are a law unto themselves . Dont lose any sleep over this as your time will come.

Hi Hik,

It just brings a wry smile to us oldtimers when people complain about waiting for 3 months:rolleyes:. If you read some of the earlier posts you will have spotted others like hibee who have waited for ages (Hibee are you the longest serving member??)

By the way, 20 months isn't the max. Alan put up some numbers that show AHC deal with 75% of applications in 77weeks (around 18 months). Some of the tricky ones could take years!

Adelaide is however another story and every now and again it looks as if they are moving faster which annoys those of use at London, but hey, no-one said life was fair so it's heads down and hang in there. The problem is lack of info on backlogs and how fast things are going so I've tried (not sucessfully) to work out how much longer. I've just been told by my agent that I MAY have to re-submit sponsorship forms as they are only valid for 12 months. Time to start ripping hair out if I had any.

I sent my remaining medicals on Mar16th, they did acknowledged the docs but since then nothing from Adelaide. I think they need some Korean Ginseng to work faster.

I think the general opinion is,try to be patient,you shouldn't have to wait as long as us London AHC applicants.It does amuse us oldtimers when you whinge so much,but we really have been there & are doing that.
