Can anyone suggest nice suburbs either around adelaide or in SA to live

Not in Adelaide yet (Grrrr!!). But most expats seem to be heading to the south west coast.

Hi Carole,
We are near the airport! Our house has been for sale since september, we have dropped it 20k and had 4 agents, with no luck.
Our visas run out in August so it looks like we need to sort the house out to rent, and then go at the start of the summer holidays.
I actually handed in my notice at work this morning, so I've got some time to sort out the house, finish on the 27th May, very scary. Have been with the company for 12 years (except when on maternity leave)
How far are you on with the visas? There seems to be a lot of Brummies heading that way at the moment, the local accent is going to be going yam yam.
We were also looking at Christie's beach, the houses seem more spread out and cheaper, somebody did mention that Christies Downs had quite a high crime rate, so I'm keeping an open mind till we get there.
Anyway good luck with everything and hopefully see you out there.
