Re: Adelaide Meet - January
Was there balloons? Walked all round there but there was a few groups. Couldn't see anything to identify anybody. I won't be doing anything like that again. It took all I could muster to go to a thing like that and walk around looking for a bunch of strangers on my own. Not meant to meet anybody I don't think. I'm done, well and trully.
Yes, there were some tied to a parking meter on the roadside to the side of where we were and some tied in the tree branch. Then one of the kids took them down about 3pm and ran round with them all tied together.
I was the only one wearing a cricket shirt, but maybe I'd nipped to the loo as you were walking by? I did keep looking about but didn't see anyone that was on their own.
I am so, so sorry that you couldn't find us

Hi all
Just got home from the Hospital with Thomas and he has ended up on cruches to his delight. No broken bones thank God, just sprained his foot and can't put it to the floor.
Boys will be boys I suppose.
Thanks for a great day out folk and see most of you tomorrow.
Julia.

Poor little mite, I thought one foot looked bigger than the other. Hope he's feeling a little less sore today.
Glasgowlass - we had the same problem finding the group but luckily we knew a couple of faces so managed to find them. There were a couple of groups with balloons tied to things so if we hadn't, we'd probably just have sat down with one of those!!
It must have been frustrating for you and such a shame you missed a good afternoon. Fiona is right though, I first met this lot at a coffee morning and I was very nervous getting there but it's much easier to find people when it's a much smaller space and Wendy had a koala on the table so they were easy to spot. It will be well worth it, I'm hoping to go too (house hunting gets in the way sometimes) so it would be great to meet you there.

Hi Raj, you probably won't get this for a while but it was really lovely to meet you and your fantastic family. I hope you enjoy(ed) your stay in Adelaide and manage to get back to Australia very soon.
