I've found a site that sells copies of all the big papers from Oz in the UK.
It's www.consylpublishing.co.uk
Their phone number is 01424 223111
The Adelaide Advertiser costs £8.30 and is delivered once a month if anyone's interested. We look online at the paper but it's much better to read in the flesh.

I've tried phoning already but there's just a machine - I'll try them again on Monday
Thanks

Mr Mover,
Really good to hear your views on areas. We want to move into Gawler/Barossa and can't wait to arrive in July. Our son (7) is booked into Trinity College at Gawler River campus.
Do you know it or have any views?

As for mossies, Bolivar, Paralowie, areas have high mossie rates , in summer but only for short periods, Gawler great country town, good living at reasonable prices, 45 mins to Adelaide, beach side adelaide going off the planet, 500k -1mill,on the esplanade, but nice safe beaches for kids, back two or three streets still can pick up a bargain for 2.5k -300k,first home buyers is 14k rebate on new home, 7k on establised........mm

Re: my town
Talking of developers, does anyone know of ANY websites of housing developers in South Australia?
Our friends have just moved to Perth & I can find loads of sites there but not Adelaide.

I work for a Recruitment company, and have a few clients who are house developers:
Homestead Homes: www.homeaustralia.com.au
Rossdale Homes: www.rossdalehomes.com.au
Rivergum Homes: www.rivergumhomes.com.au
Scott Salisbury: www.scottsalisburyhomes.com.au
I've been in Adelaide for 7 years (originally from Scotland) - I'M JOCKNEY'S NIECE. Where to live here can depend on what kind of lifestyle you're after! I live on the beach at Glenelg (just renting, can't afford to buy there anymore) cos I love being near the water, eating out & going to the pubs.

Hi Jockney,
I'd be grateful for details of who you dealt with at the advertiser. When I wrote to them last year asking for exactly the same deal as you have they quoted $26.71 (A$) per issue and would only do it on the basis of one each week - they wouldn't do every month or 4-weekly. I can't really justify the near $1400 that that would have cost.
Cheers
