hi,just wondering how easy it is to access other international airports around the world from adelaide......or is it that you would nearly always transit through sydney.....we like the sound of adelaide and now have employer as sponsor etc etc but travel to the uk and europe,usa etc is important to us and so would be grateful of any info on this subject...cheers.

There are direct flights out of Adelaide to Singapore, from there you can fly anywhere.

Mipik: Can you answer from Heathrow, who flys direct to Adelaide (obviously stopping off at Singapore)? flights I've found so far all stopover in far east, but then travel to Sydney which means another flight to get to Adelaide. Thanks

It's Singapore air who fly from Singapore to Adelaide direct. Can book straight through from Heathrow to Adelaide.

British Airways/Qantas also stop at Singapore and Cathay pacific stop at Hong Kong, no problem getting direct flights now

Malaysian Airlines also flies to Adelaide via KL.

Qantas (Singapore), Singapore (Singapore), Malaysian (KL), Air New Zealand (Auckland) and Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong) all fly into Adelaide. Only Singapore and Cathay Pacific fly daily.
