Default Adelaide airport

I just saw a story in The Advertiser about works ongoing at Adelaide Airport.

First, does anyone know whether this is an extension to the current airport or a new airport. Does anyone have any information on whether this is likely to mean more flights to Adelaide from the UK.

Secondly, the story goes on about a massive skills shortage for the building trades in the whole of SA with workers getting weekly bonuses of 50% over the norm (which puts them on the equivalent of $90,000 pa) which would be tempting if I were in that line of work.
