Default Adelaide

Hi all

Thinking of going to Adelaide just wondered if any one there could post some pics of the place we have never been before we have done plenty of web searches for pics but most seem to be of other places.

Cheers Steve

Well, it depends on your definition of a "crap sight". Contrary to what one might think, the site doesn't present the work of a professional photographer -- hence many a do-not-put-on-a-postcard kind of image. They give you a pretty realistic idea of what Adelaide may or may not have to offer to a prospective settler.

Yes

He asked for pictures of Adelaide.

He did not specify only 'nice' ones.

Positive:

The people are really friendly
It's very quiet and relaxed
It's really great for kids (lots of parks, playgrounds, clean beaches etc)
It's really great for adults (lots of restaurants, pubs etc)
It's really easy to get around and nothing is really too far away
The public transport is reliable, cheap and clean
There's some great shopping centers
There's usually something going on somewhere
There's lots of employment (4% unemployment here and that's mainly people who don't want to work )

Negative:

We still have to work

Nearly 9 months. It doesn't feel that long, but then they do say time flies when you're having fun!
