Default ACS Skilled Employment Deduction

Hi,

With the below information, how many years would ACS deduct from my work experience to classify the ‘skilled met date’.

Qualifications: None
ACS Pathway: No qualifications, 8 years experience
Total Experience (Business Analyst): 10 years

I’m wondering how many years I could use for points in the visa following a positive RPL.

Thanks

If you require 8 years experience to be deemed skilled, and you have 10, then 2 years would count for points - provided that those 8 years are accepted.

Thanks for the response, have you got a source for this info as I can't find it anywhere?

Another question.

If I chose the below RPL route, how many skilled employment years would I have?

Experience: 10 years
Qualification: Completed on year 10

RPL Route: Non IT Diploma OR higher, 6 years relevant work experience completed any time in past work history PLUS a successful RPL application

Any experience used to deem you skilled cannot be counted as skilled experience - and only skilled experience counts for points.

Check ACS FAQ and Summary of Criteria - https://www.acs.org.au/msa/skills-faqs.html

"Please note: The ICT work experience required to meet the suitability criteria is NOT included as 'skilled experience' and is NOT eligible for points under the points test ......."
