Accommodation in Singapore for stopover.
Can you help please. We will be returning from Australia in April 2007 and would like a 3 day stop over in Singapore. Can you recommend any accommodation please.
There are 5 of us altogether. We would need either an apartment with 2 bedrooms for 2 adults and 2 kids, plus mother-in-law . Or a family room for 4 and a spare room for mother-in-law.
Thanks alot.

Who are you flying with - I believe Singapore Airlines offer free membership online and you get up to 40% on a list of hotels. If you've flown with them before, you know you can't go wrong!!
Hopefully we'll be doing the same going to Oz.

Hi
We stayed in the Shangri-la just about 3-4 min walk from the beginning of the Orchard Road. We got a great deal through "Travelmood" and when we checked in we did a room upgrade for about £15 per night to a suite and this allowed you access into VIP bar with alcohol and canapes free from 5pm- 7pm. (we got sloshed and definitely got our £15 upgrade back!!!)
The room and food was excellent, would recommend this hotel.
Cheers
