Default Accommodation in Melbourne

Hello, We are due to fly to Frankston in January and our accommodation has just fallen through. (This can be bought forward if we find a place to live again) we have the shipping of all our household furniture booked for the middle of November. Can anyone guide us to a reasonably priced rental firm that may supply furnished rentals or does anyone know of any caravan parks etc in Frankston. We have two young boys so we really need a place to stay...not a hotel...they would cause chaos at the age they are!!!! Other than that we are really excited and cannot wait to go.

Thumbs up Re: Accommodation in Melbourne

Thanks for your help....

We made an enquiry and have reserved a family unit at the Big4 holiday village, got a really good price and will have the first week as part holiday and part frantic house searching along with jobs, schools etc.

Good luck and keep us posted on your thoughts of your Big4 experience.
Thanks

Sarah

A friend of mine lives on a farm between Mount Eliza and Mornington. She has a furnished 2 bed bungalow on her farm that she lets out to holiday makers and migrants. She charges $600/week.

Hi Sarah

Great you got it booked

I take it you have your visa? We are still waiting so you will experience BIG 4 before us, bet you cant wait, it looks fab.

Where are you planning on settling? we kinda like Frankston South, cant wait to get over there and check out all those houses and areas.

It would be great to hear your experience of B4 and Frankston of course, hope you have a fab time and enjoy your first week of relaxation

Good luck to you

Talking Re: Accommodation in Melbourne

Hello,

We got the skilled 136 visa as Hubby is a Carpenter/Joiner so hopefully it wont take too long for him to find a job when we get there!! so if anyone knows of anything going can you let us know? please.

We hope to settle in Frankston or close to the 3199 area as it looks nice and the schools are good apparently. We are sent regular emails about properties for sale in the area and some look great and others look a bit dodgy. Frankston south is not far from there so you never know you could end up nearby. Now that would be handy for some good old British chat.

Well as for our Big 4 experience so far we were quoted a price and then when we booked it the price increased by over $100. oh well....lets just hope the rest of it goes smoothly.

Will keep you posted on things....

Good luck with everything

Sarah & Mike
