accommodation
Hi all
When you moved over did you already have your accommodation planned for when you got off the plane.
It is just the 2 of us and cant get a house until we get over because we have 2 border collies which are in quarantine for a month so that gives us 4 weeks to find somewhere to live.
What happens if you want to hire a car at the airport as we are planning to move to bunbury so we need transport to get us there but have no address to give them.
Anyone else been in this situation.
Let us know how you got on.
Happy New Year
Beth

Re: accommodation
We did the same as previous poster - had a rental sorted, but still being built when we got here so took a holiday apartment down in Surfers for a couple of weeks until our place was ready - car hire is no problem - again, as stated, use your UK licence and let them know where you will be dropping off. We hired a car from Europcar for a month, bought our own cars after a couple of weeks and took it back early no problem at all - full refund of unused days.

You have to specify where are you returning the car anyway.

Hi
We had a short term rental booked for when we arrived, and it took us about a week to find a house to rent so it all fitted in well. We just hired a car at the airport, but had prebooked it and arranged to return it to a different depot, so all in all it worked out well.
