Default Accident on the Mitchell

For those who live NOR a major accident on the Mitchell Freeway between Whitfords and Hepburn Avenue – southbound. Apparently a road train has swerved and crashed into the railway line, which implies that the track will probably be damaged. See info below from Transperth, also believe part of the freeway is closed.

Joondalup Line service disruption
Effective: 18 July 2007
Transperth train services on the Joondalup Line have been disrupted due to a traffic accident on the Mitchell Fwy just south of Greenwood Station.
Trains from Perth are being turned at Stirling and trains from Clarkson are being turned at Whitfords. Train replacement bus service 904 will shuttle passengers between Whitfords and Stirling Stations.
The disruption is expected to last for several hours and it is likely that, when through-services resume, trains will be on speed restrictions through the affected area.
Transperth apologises for any inconvenience.

For further information regarding this service disruption, call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428 1999, TIS: 13 14 50) or use the Transperth JourneyPlanner to plan your journey.

I saw this happen. Midday.
I thought it was a Truck that had swerved over, hitting and crushing a car at the side of it.
Lots of traffic at a stand still.
