Default Accepted a offer on house but

Yesterday we accepted an offer on the house, but as another couple who lives on the same street is interested they said they can get cash from his employer to buy ours . We had it up for £180.000 and offers above, We had it up for £210.000 in the summer and had sold it then at the last minute the couple dropped out, this other couple said they will put a bigger offer in cash as the guy who is buying ours is a prat we would like to sell it to the other couple. Does anyone know whether i can do this and cancel the offer i havent put anything in writing just accepted offer over the phone any info off you folks outhere please.

That is exactly what I would suggest, at least until the surveys have come back. Both buyers will need to be made aware of this as I believe your solicitor is legally bound to advise all parties of the contracts he has sent out.

We had a contract race with 2 buyers and finally exchanged with the snail yesterday (other buyers buyer held her up)
