Default About bl**dy time!!!

Well after much waiting, we have had notification from our Agent in Oz that our visas have been approved!!

Hmmm...now the serious drinking session begins...

We're not going until February probs but who cares...the partying starts now!!

Sorry to those who are still waiting to hear. I don't mean to gloat. I know exactly how you feel.

Could I ask you what type of visa you applied for and how long it took?

Sure...it was a skilled visa class 136, we lodged start of October and heard today 2 months ahead of what we were advised by Adelaide when we lodged.

Thank you for that - we are at the thinking stage at the moment. My hubby spent a year travelling in Oz and loved it - Ive never been so we're considering a trip to have a look around and see whether I would actually like it (although I'm sure I would!)

Have you been over to check it out?

I'd deffinately recommend a trip there to get a feel for the place.
We went over last summer and spent 3 weeks going up the coast from Sydney to Brisbane. We both fell in love with the place and did NOT want to come home.

That's what we were thinking of doing, just spending 3 or 4 weeks driving around. My hubby prefers Sydney, wants to live at Manly but I've convinced him SA would be better as it's cheaper and they are sponsoring people also.

Thanks for your replies - most appreciated! And hope all goes well with your move and partying!

Anytime, if you need any assistance just gimme a shout and I'll try my best to help, although my wife did the hard work, she was the main applicant.

I loved Manly to but didn't have a spare million for a house.
