Just for those missing out, I noticed (and purchased!) in Woolworths this week....
Dan...dan...DAAAAAA..... (sounds effects for enormity of situation....)
Bisto gravy granules!!! :scared:
Yep, hold onto your hats old expats, it's gravy, just like we used to remember!!!
Hurrah!!! Naff off Gravox, you taste like poo and we don't need you ANYMORE!!!
For those interested, it's under the name " SOoo! Gravy" Traditional Instant gravy granules, 170g tub in same red cardboard tub, made in UK. Roughly $3 a pop.
I do usually make my own gravy from the meat juices etc and deglaze but this is great for sticking in a slow cook or whatever.
Apparently theres a vegetable version available too...not that I questioned the shop assistant whilst slavering and looking deranged or anything ridiculous like that.....

I dont mind it tho if its chopped up really finely, dont use it when makin my own although the kids love sausage in theirs & hubbys has to be plain, no nothing, only chunky steak, gravy, golden crisp puff pastry n all gooey underneath
