I have an L300 and the only real problem with them is the fuel pump which is known to need a rebuild after around 100,000 km. mine had it rebuilt a couple of years ago and I can say it's been good as gold since as long as it gets serviced regularly. As it's a diesel engine it's oil & Oil filter needs changing every 5000km and the fuel filter at least every 10,000km. Also, most people blank off the EGR valve which I did ages ago too. Just do a search on the site. Other than that just make sure you get it looked at by a mechanic before buying, check for rust and worn bushes as they stopped making them in 1993.
