50% tax rebate on new cars
I might go for this. I was thinking of a novated lease but this might be a better option and a lot less hassle.
There are some sweet deals out there at the moment. Volkswagen are offering 3 years free servicing - Golf mk6 is out and the 125kW diesel Passat looks good. I also like the look of the Mazda6 diesel - 136kW from 2.2l, and you can push them on price. With the tax year end almost upon us, it's a buyers market.
Anyone else?

Re: 50% tax rebate on new cars
The car has to be bought by a business (ABN will do) and by 31st December 2009. 50% of the purchase price is tax deductible. So:
Cost: $40k
50% of: $20k
Tax deduction at say 40%: $8k
Tax deduction is claimed on your tax return.
It's all explained here:
