Waiting for santa so just popped on here for a quickie!
Went to the beach at 2.00 this afternoon - car temp gauge registered 39 degrees, wind changed direction about 4.10 so got in car to come home and by this time it had dropped to 24 degrees. And most of that drop seemed to happen in the space of about 2 minutes! Yes, it really was a hair dryer effect - so windy that all the dust I spent hours cleaning from my house yesterday blew back in again! Huh
Merry christmas ho ho ho!

Funnily enough Ive found that the chance of a cool southerly wind seems to increase when you have a really hot day. I recall a couple of years ago it being about 45c and a southerly came in around 8pm and it went down below 15c, nearly had to put long pants on

Not sure what the temp is if not in car as I have found that a thermometer is a hard thing to buy here. Have seen fancy ones at markets but mitre 10 and bunnings don't sell.
Any one got any ideas.
