35 and 32 year old couple moving to Australia - Do we have any chance?
After several holidays in Australia, my girlfriend and I are looking to emigrate there to join some friends that have already done the same. Neither of us have family in Australia, and neither of us have qualifications above GCSE level.
My job role comes under "Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson - ANZSCO 312511", I have nine years experience in this role but no qualifications.
I'm hoping there is a way we can somehow obtain a permanent visa, do we have any chance?
Thanks!

Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson - ANZSCO 312511 is assessed by Engineers Australia. If you do not hold a suitable qualification (degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma), you may be able to apply using a Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) where at least 3 years relevant experience will be used to substitute the qualification (and you can only claim points for years deemed skilled).
So looks like you may have a path if you can navigate that.

I did a quick Google:
