Default 2nd hand furniture in Sydney

Hi folks,

Whilst leaving for OZ in Sep our furniture will take a few months to arrive. I have heard there is a 2nd hand furniture warehouse in Sydney somewere that expats use. Does Anyone know were it is and what its called. I belive it was also shownon one of the expats tv programs shown here last year.

Cheers

Years ago Radio Rentals (or similar in Oz) used to rent a lot of household stuff out. Maybe ask one of the local real estates as they may have local contacts.

Also check out garage sales for cheap inbetween bargains, plus the $2 shops.

My last 3 months in Oz we sat on plastic garden furniture as we had sold our sofa & armchairs plus the dining room suite. Sore bum time!

Good luck

Never heard of this warehouse. Try St Peters end of Newtown as there is one good second hand place there (Dellis), and some other cheapish new furniture places. Theres also a good cheap secondhand white goods shop called Bizarre Bargains on Enmore road. There's Ikeas around too and Bunnings is good for super cheap garden furniture. Theres plenty of other cheap places around to be hunted out.
