What are the awards then? Will you be presenting online certificates or something? (Please not a cyber coconut again!)

Default Re: 2003 Expats Awards ....

1) Funniest post - cannot think of one specific one
2) Funniest poster male - BaldButts put up a few corkers
2a) Funniest poster female - Mrs DagBoy/Podgypossum
3) Most opinionated poster - Ceri (I think it was her) - when she went ape about some shark hunter bloke.
4) Most positive poster - Me and Mrs D , Pollyfilla, PodgyPossum, BadgersMount ... and a few more
5) Most pessimistic poster (PB excluded). There have been a few - and I think all of them probably have their reasons, so I try not to judge, but since award presentations need names ...
Karawara was all doom and gloom at one point - but much less so since the decision to do the hippy van thing.
GuitarDoctor posted a few pretty depressing word pictures.
Ceri seemed to dislike Redcliffe a little.
Dotty lost patience with the rose tinted brigade a few times and possibly exagerrated the realism.
DazUK seemed to be a depressing miserable bastard at all times - so definitely the most consistently pessimistic.
6) Most intellectual poster - have not noticed any intellectual posts since being on here - they must have all happened in the firat half of last year.
7)"Dark Horse" - none
8) Most predicatable poster - Dotty and Ceri
9) Most fanciable male (flesh or fantasy?) - I thought long and hard about this and there is only one male poster who I would be happy to hold by his manhood and that is DagBoy.
10) Most fanciable female (flesh or fantasy?) No contest for me - MrsDagBoy
11) Most informative poster - MrsDagBoy for Brisbane, BondiPom for all sorts of stuff, MrMover for ... umm ... moving stuff, Alan Colett for immigration advice
12) Most pervy poster - I have not met Flossie - but my guess would be WBB.
13) Biggest anorak - none
14) Biggest ute loving, thong wearing, chick perving aussie wannabe category is closed as Badge is downright hands down winner for next 5 years - FAIR DINKUM.
15) Jammiest 'land on your feet' poster is also closed as garratt/HUP have won this one hands down - TOO EASY.
16) Lifetime Achievement Award (Expats) - ask me again next year.

Cheers,

DagBoy

Well, what can I say? Voted for three times, eh?

I would graciously accept your award for the most intellectual poster, as I would accept any free handout.

May I go on to inform and enlighten! :lecture:

Steve.

Ah you bootlicking member How would you like me to boost your post count by 1,000?

To whoever else who has intentions to morph your username, note that welshbillyboy is now wbb, and in the process has had his post count rounded to the nearest thousand hehe
