I can't believe its nearly Spring and that its only 2 degrees and snowing outside. No bloody wonder we want to come to Australia!! Cold winters lasting for months and months are one thing I WON'T miss.

I thought the same, but surprisingly I had never felt so cold as my first winter in Australia.
We were in Canberra, and on a clear night it gets to -6. Couple this with the fact most Aussie houses have a minimum of insulation, no double glazing, no central heating, it makes for a cold night! Still the days were glorious!

We're having a fabulous autumn in Melbourne. Clear skies every day, 22 - 26 degrees. Just like a perfect UK summer!

Hiya emmahafryn,
26 degrees C would be a very nice summer day in the UK!
Anyone know what the temps are like in April / May?
bye

Had a look at weather.com, to get it in Celcius
April Max 20 Min 10
May Max 16 Min 7
The reasoin why I was interested is it's when I think I'll, pop over to validate the visa. (if my case officer gets back to me.)
