When i get to oz there will be things i need to get or sort out can i apply for my tfn-tax file number online and can it be done before i get there or only when i am there?

medicare- can i apply for this online before i go or when i get there and as i am on working holiday visa do i need to bring proof of any thing like health etc.?- im sure i dont as i would not have been granted working visa online if i was not in good health.

can anyone tell me where is the best but cheapest places to buy second hand cars as this is one important thing i will need when i get there also what car is ok and does not break down much and is easy to get parts on, i dont want to spend all my money on a car but something that will do for a year maybe less.

What other things are involved when buying car rego, insurance etc anything else i am missing i will be going to melbourne area.

also anyone recommend cheap but good insurance companys who would insure me?

also when i get there i want to be online and probably will be online a lot can anyone recommend what isp's to use the cheapest, the most common and even pre-paid, im not sure what i need yet but haveing the info up front will be very handy.

can anyone give me details and address etc of the neareast dimia office in australia near geelong im sure melbourne would be the nearest can anyone give this address?
