I remember a few years ago 1AUD = 0.48USD.

Yup there are so many other countries with currenices tied to the USD its a great time to shop in a lot of places!

Yes, It will be good. I buy loads of stuff from the US now. Local retailers are just not going to pass on the savings they are making.

I hear you. The stuff I've been buying - electronics, electrical testing tools, radio-control plane stuff is 60% to 300% cheaper - even allowing for delivery costs.

Aussie retailers are money grabbing jokers.
