The reason the SA goverment wants you to migrate there is to replace all the young, skilled and educated people who have left
the state for the eastern states because of the high level of unemployment . l would'nt give up a decent job in thr UK to
move over to Adelaide and risk ending up on the dole.
No chance of ending up on the dole.... at least not in the first 2 years..... You wouldn't be eligible !!

Missed the story.

Anyone shed light on this?

May be useful to those who've lost out on points system
I was watching GMTV the other morning and they had an article on this too. It is for South Australia and the Outback type places to re-populate these areas.

So I think something is in the pipeline anyway.

l have been to the South Australian outback and l would rather live in Afghanistan. The only places in SA that are nice to live in
is Adelaide and the surrounding hills and the south-east of
the state around the Mt.Gambier area.

Well, when I worked for Centrelink, I met a bunch of English men on the Age Pension; nearly every one of them were 10 pound emigres and every one of them was orphaned in WW2.

That's why I asked.
Now i know your a liar, nobody WORKS at Centrelink.... mm
