Salary Benchmarking
I'm in the process of organising my general work permit & trying to do this without spending a fortune on immigration layers (I have a couple of friends who have done their own so know that it's possible).
I have nearly all of the required documents together but was wondering how to get the salary benchmark certificate from the department of labour. Does anyone know what I need to take with me, e.g. job advert I replied to, contract of employment, etc.
Also, does anyone know of a friendly immigration lawyer/company that would be happy to check paperwork, get salary benchmark certificate & submit to home affairs? The ones I have spoken to want to handle everything & produce the same documents I have already for over R8000? Having been to home affairs to extend my visitors visa it's not an experience I want to repeat.
Thanks in advance
