Twenty percent of South Africans are planning to emigrate or are seriously considering it, according to the results of a survey released yesterday by global market research company Synovate.

Spokesperson Jake Orpen said 600 respondents were interviewed in all nine provinces of South Africa, using face-to-face interviews.

Definitely got to be more, what about the people like me who are not going through a immigration lawyer, and haven't been accounted for? At the private school where my kids attend, of all the Mums I chat to there (and it's a lot), 90% of them are either leaving or in the planning stages to leave SA. At the end of last term, 14 families left that school because they were leaving the country, and that's just in our 'area'.

The Poll was done to represent SA, so 9.1% of the Poll were white.or 54 people.
20% is 120 people
The Majority of "Leaving" tend to be white,if they asked the question of White,Coloured and Asian only, the Figures would be huge.
