postgraduate accounting degree in Australia?
Hello everyone
I just found this forum a few days ago, and it provides a lot of helpful information. Here I need some help. I'm a oversea student studying in Sydney and I'm studying a MBA degree that has a professional accounting major accredited by ICAA and CPA. Can someone tell me that is it possible for me to find a job in big accounting companies like big 4 after postgraduate study? And if it's possible, what should I do to achieve this or what is their requirement? I haven't got a accounting bacholar's degree and I don't have any related work experience. What I know is I must be a Australia PR or citizen. I heard a lot of forums said that big 4 companies just hire people having bacholar's degree, and it's almost impossible for a postgraduate to work there, is that true? I will appreciate any kind of help. |

Get some professional advice on your visa options (if any) to remain in Australia after graduation. What is your home country - can you do your Australian CA qualification there? (eg in Singapore).

Re: postgraduate accounting degree in Australia?
If you have completed 2 years of studying in Australia (see www.immi.gov.au) you can get a graduate visa which allows you to stay in Australia for another 18 months to get extra work experience and that way gain extra points to get a PR.
